January, 2011′s Member of the Month has demonstrated some serious performance improvements in all areas of our program.  Zach Derrico has been not only been a consistent week to week attendee of classes, but has also become one of our top male performers!  His impeccable work ethic, willingness to learn, and the fact that he’s an all around nice guy has made Zach a great student, and friend of our community!  Congratulations Zach!

Favorite skill: Really don’t have 1 favorite skill, but I like ring dips and pushups
Most improved skill: Muscle-Ups
Favorite WOD: fight gone bad

Favorite lift: Cleans, Squats
Least favorite lift: That’s easy — overhead squats
Primary motivation in doing CrossFit: Stronger body and mind.  Improve my overall athleticism, become a more complete and well rounded athlete
Definition of success: Setting personal goals and achieving them.  Seeing gradual improvement in ones knowledge and ability
Long term goal for CrossFit: To continue to learn and grow as a person and  athlete.  Reach a point where I would be ready and able to successfully compete in a crossfit games.

Favorite outcome of participating in CrossFit: Meeting like minded fitness enthusiasts who are passionate about working out.  Seeing yourself and your classmates learn, grow and improve as an athlete & person.
